For the past several days, I’ve been digging through drawers, trying to discard, separate, and delegate all the many pictures and mementoes I find. This activity has a tendency to dredge up a lot of old memories. For instance I found two paper dolls that I played with when I was a little girl. Now, that was a long time ago. And, they were–guess where? Inside a box which once held Evening in Paris perfume. Too bad I don’t still have some of the perfume because it is quite pricey now, if you can find it at all.
More digging through turned up a picture that isn’t quite that old–it’s nine years old, in fact, of Blarney Castle and me kissing the fabled Blarney Stone. Not my best pose, but anyway…
So, I’m still digging through. What’ll I turn up next? Who knows? Who knows indeed?
Fabulous memories for you! One of the oldest treasures I found a while back and I still keep is my Baptismal dress. Of course I don’t remember that day, but my Mom had it tucked away for me from many years ago.
That is a real treasure, Morgan! It’s certainly a keepsake.
