Does weather affect your moods or do you go sailing through the seasons undaunted by snow, rain, or cold? Do you prefer balmy temperatures year round and escape to sunny places when possible?
Weather is changeable and atmospheric pressure may affect the way we feel–I think it’s interesting to look into that possibility. Does a full moon cause people to behave differently? When I taught kindergarteners, I thought it did.
This morning, for example, is cloudy, breezy, and cold. Do I embrace the briskness and, full of energy, and pep, feel great? No, I do not. Instead, I hover indoors, fireplace blazing, coffee pot going, and turn on every light in every room. This is the way I cope with murky weather.
How about you? I know many of you prefer the crispness of fall and winter. The summer temperatures in southern climes cause you to wilt like a daisy out of water. Then, there are others like me, who won’t be warm again until next June.
Whatever your weather preferences, a cozy mystery has never been known to be out of place. You can find one that lifts your mood and whisks you to a different climate. Suspend reality and delve into a cozy. It will brighten any day.
