It’s About Time

You know the most precious asset you have? Not money, nor stocks, nor IRAs nor houses. Your most valuable asset and mine is time! Every one of us, no matter how rich nor how poor has the same number of hours in the day. We can’t hoard those hours for later, can’t save them in an account at the bank. They are elusive. They slip away and are gone forever. So, how I use each hour in the day becomes very important to me. And the things I think about, my activities, the people who spend those hours with me, all are very precious.

At the end of the day as I look back at it, I wonder if I made a difference anywhere to anyone? Did I brighten the day for anybody? Did I hold true to the values I profess?

A new day begins with a lot of promise. The sun is shining this morning, whereas I awoke to rain yesterday morning. Grass and trees try to outdo themselves in greenness. The day has a lot of possibilities and it has 24 hours at my disposal. I hope I use them wisely.

  1. What a word in due season! Thank you! And you DO make a difference every day! With your encouragement, written or spoken, and always with your smile! Good questions we should all ask ourselves at the end of the day! Thanks! Fran

I’ve missed a few days but really enjoyed your thoughts for this day. I have a full day planned but I know sometimes things don’t always work out as you hope! I like to keep Ecc. 9:11 in mind!
