A message that is spoken quietly with a smile at the end is more powerful than shouting with a raised fist.
Love means I am more interested in your well-being than I am in my own.
Even if something is true, if it is hurtful, I will not repeat it.
Each state should take care of that state’s business; the federal government should take care of the federal government’s business.
Tragedies should not be used for political gain.
Slogans should not be believed and repeated just because they are the view of well-known persons or groups.
I should have the right to believe the Bible without being labeled narrow-minded or a hate monger.
Virtues like truth and honesty do not go out of style but shine brighter with the patina of use.
Helpless beings whether unborn, born, or aged, should be valued and respected.
The Lord gives us each the same number of hours in the day; the way we use them is up to us.
And that’s the way I see it on this Monday morning. The opinions are my own because they are the only opinions I have. __________________________________________________________________

Very thought provoking! They are your opinions and they are good ones! Cozy Cat Press is starting a blog called The Cozy Cat Chronicles. My day is every other Thursday. I hope I’m as good at it as you are. It’s supposed to be starting to-day but not sure if it’s up and running or not.
p.s. Just noticed you are standing by your lilac bush too. We have lovely lilacs this year. One that is especially beautiful are the Japanese Lilacs – some are as large as trees and the flowers are white and more delicate looking than the usual ones.
Thanks for writing, Sharon. I’ll be sure to catch your blog. That is a good idea! Yes, my lilacs were beautiful earlier in the spring. I really enjoy the fragrance.
