Great News! The trio is together. The first two chapters of the third Darcy and Flora cozy, Best Left Buried are on the Samples page this morning. Wednesday the Cozy Critters arrived for our twice-monthly critique. What a giggly, inspiring, informative, fun-filled two hours! Jane brought two of her intriguing and beautiful paintings that she is working on–one in oil and one in colored pencil. As this talented friend described how and why, I was reminded that writing is art and words our medium.
Helen has another success to add to her expansive repertoire with the sale of her inspirational piece, “Feathers” to The Secret Place. We critiqued two more of her articles, “The Secret” and “Patiently Waiting.” Encouragement is woven in with the words that Helen writes.
Nancy’s book, The Grace Impact, is with the printer. Now she is engaged in her blog tour. I am carrying her pictures and quotes and Scriptures on my Facebook page and also tweeting. Don’t miss these. The April 3 release date is just around the corner for her. Congratulations, Nancy!
Hopefully, Peg will soon be able to re-join us. I’m curious to hear about the many books she is reading.
Tomorrow is the Northwest Arkansas Writing Conference in Fayetteville. What a fun time! So much going on in the world of writing. It’ll be good to see old friends and meet some new ones. Maybe you can be there too?
