Ned McNeil and Darcy Campbell have quite a lot in common, for example, getting caught in thunderstorms. In Grave Heritage, July is the rainiest month of the year, contrary to its usual behavior. But, that’s what makes a story, isn’t it–happenings that are far from the way things are supposed to be.
Ednalee, Oklahoma is having a very rainy spring, in Moonstruck and Murderous. It is March and there are two full moons–a blue moon. Pat is very sure that all the strange happenings are due to moonlight on Granger Mansion. Jackie is undergoing some problems of her own and Ned–well, as usual, Ned’s curiosity is leading her into trouble. I thought about titling this book, Once in a Blue Moon, but that title had already been taken.
Why am I thinking so much of stormy weather? Because it’s spring and possible storms are forecast tonight. Hopefully, they won’t be as dire as the ones Ned and Darcy encountered. There’s a good way to enjoy all that banging of thunder and onslaught of wind and rain–grab a book, get in a safe place, and enjoy a safe, stormy night.
