When I was in school, “Pop Quiz” were two of the scariest words around, but school was a long time ago and now, when I take a quiz, it is just for fun. That’s what this is this morning, a just-for fun quiz on my five published cozy mysteries. Pour another cup of coffee, get comfortable, and enjoy it. The answer for each is one of these titles: The Cemetery Club, Grave Shift, Best Left Buried, Grave Heritage, Moonlight Can Be Murder.
- Someone kept a deadly secret for forty years.
- Something happened after World War I that came to light many years later.
- An old treadle sewing machine held something in its drawers besides spools of thread.
- A body disappeared from a graveyard during a wild thunderstorm.
- The trail of a missing woman led from a small Oklahoma town to an Amarillo ranch.
- Granger Mansion, with the snow all around and moonlight on it, looked like a Christmas card.
- During a conversation on their front porch, a Cherokee friend revealed a long-kept secret.
- Returning to one’s home town after a forty-year absence spelled trouble.
- Two earthquakes shifted things around and upset quite a few people with a revelation.
- Should the past remain in the past; is it better not to reveal an old murder and its consequences?
- A tumble down Deertrack Hill could be deadly, but not, perhaps, as deadly as the gunmen in pursuit.
- Who would want to kill a preacher who did only good things and never harmed a soul?
So, there you have it…your morning spooky, scary, mysterious, yet cozy quiz. How’d you do? I’ll publish the answers tomorrow.
