As I get older, it’s the small things that matter to me the most. As the song goes, Little Things Mean a Lot.
For a writer, it’s a treat to get a special Valentine from a happy reader. I remember the email I received from a fan of The Cemetery Club. She enjoyed it so much, she decided to read the other cozies too.
Sometimes, in the rush and responsibilities of every day living, small kindnesses are forgotten. But, they don’t have to be. It takes only a moment to make a phone call, to help someone with a burden, or whisper a prayer. Valentine’s Day is a reminder of the important things.
It’s the little things that can make a person feel good. When I walk Buster in the morning, I see a lady in the window at her computer. Many times she looks up and waves at me and I wave back. I don’t know her name and it still makes me feel good doing this simple gesture to each other.
That’s great, Morgan. I’m sure it brightens her day as well.
Here’s a Valentine for you, Blanche! (Wish I could add graphics.) <3
Thank you, Kimberly. I hope you and Duke had a great day.
