Here in Arkansas, we are rejoicing with the good rain we had a couple of days ago, breaking a long dry spell. This morning dawns chilly and feeling an awfully lot like fall. Something to look forward to it: clocks fall back this Sunday. So, here we’ll be on Central Standard Time again–until spring. Honestly! Who thought this was a good idea in the first place?
This is the month for an all-important election day when our nation chooses a new leader for four years. There’s a lot of interest in this election and I’m hoping and praying that each voter considers the candidate he or she votes for, looks into their past records, and votes thoughtfully.
