November 15–a red-letter day. This is the release date for Moonlight Can Be Murder. I’m really excited about this new cozy mystery series and I hope you are too.
There’s lots to do before a new book is launched onto the public stage. Lots of preparation, planning, gathering of people to help publicize it. And that’s what’s going on now. A new book is sort of like a new baby in the family. The parents are eager for everyone to see him or her, hoping that others will realize what a really special beautiful child they have. Of course, authors always hope that readers will like their literary offspring and wait with bated breath to see how it will be received.
Moonlight Can Be Murder takes place during the month of December and all the excitement comes about as Christmas approaches. So, I’m very glad that the book’s actual debut is the month before Christmas. The timing couldn’t be better.
As promised, here is the fetching cover. Note that cat on the porch rail. The white Victorian house is somewhat similar to a house in Tahlequah that I’ve always admired. It isn’t that house, of course, but there are similarities. It’ll be neat to see if any Tahlequah reader can guess which house is the one Uncle Javin’s house resembles.
Love the cover! Count me in to help promo the launch any way I can.
Thanks so much, Judy. I’m sure I will appreciate any help. I’ll be contacting you about that.
