Although the cornucopia or horn of plenty originated in Greek mythology, it has come to mean a symbol of Thanksgiving and of gratitude for abundance. I am so grateful for my overflowing horn of plenty this Thanksgiving.
Family, friends, freedom, food, health, I could go on and on as could you. A phone call last night from a dear friend of more than sixty years reminded me of how much her friendship means.
And, I’m thankful for you, the readers of my cozy mysteries and this post. Ned, Darcy, Flora, and I appreciate you.
Laying aside all our troubles, worries, and problems for at least one day, I hope we can all remember and thank the Lord for His blessings.
Yes, we have so much to be grateful for! Best to dwell on the good and not the bad things in life!
You’re right! Happy Thanksgiving to you, Good Paul, and Buster.
