GRAVE HERITAGE LAUNCHES
At last, the long-awaited day is here. Thank you, fans of Darcy and Flora, for waiting patiently for this fourth book, Grave Heritage, for pre-ordering, and for telling your friends of the publishing date!
It seems a long time since Darcy Campbell and Flora Tucker whispered in my ear their ideas for the next mystery. I listened, agreed, and put those thoughts onto paper. Then, began the re-writes, the editing, the proof-reading, the re-re-writes, and off it went to Pennell Publishing. They looked at it, agreed to it, edited, formatted, and asked for ideas on the cover picture.
My critique group had some creative thoughts concerning what the cover picture should include. It should be meaningful and point to the story’s plot. Next, the Pennells passed those ideas to artist Kelsey Rice and the beautiful cover was born.
My publisher sent me the edits they and their editor had done. Did I agree or disagree? I went through each one. Last, they sent the proof, the book that looks exactly like the finished product but it wasn’t finished yet. One more careful scrutiny for errors or typos or if something didn’t jibe.
So, it took a while but as of this morning, Grave Heritage takes its place with The Cemetery Club, Grave Shift, and Best Left Buried. Moonlight Can Be Murder is among their ranks, but, as we know, that involves a different heroine, Ned McNeil, and a different plot.
So, happy reading, friends. After you’ve read, please post a review. And, to readers of the ARCs, please post an Amazon review today or shortly thereafter. Thank you!
