The greenness of trees gradually emerge through the darkness. It’s a wet morning. Street and driveway glisten with rain. Nemo, after a brief trip to the yard, could hardly wait to come back inside.
Looking out, the new day seems to be made of two shades: darkness and green, the color of emeralds, the color of Ireland!

Trees, grass, bushes, are as full and leafy as I’ve ever seen them. Was winter’s bareness a challenge? If so, nature accepted it gladly and went all out to replace the gray, bleak days with color. Spring, especially the month of May, is a gift. I will rejoice and be glad in it.
