Wednesday’s luncheon at Fran’s was a festive affair. Once or twice, I thought I heard sleighbells and saw the ground covered with snow. (I have an active imagination.) Fran and her friend Donna had spent hours and days decorating Fran’s house for Christmas. Every corner, every cranny, walls and flat surfaces boasted something that had to do with Christmas. And, it was tastefully done. This is no wonder because Fran was once an interior decorator.
The meal was delicious and homemade, the chatter around the table was fun. Discussions ranged from an upcoming trip to Texas for someone to an exciting new Bible study for somebody else. And, many other topics besides.
Fran was gracious enough to let me talk about my newly released cozy, Moonlight Can Be Murder. Of course, I enjoyed that!
Having forgotten my camera, I asked Jane if she would take a few pictures of food and decorations. She did an excellent job of photography. Rather than use words, I’m going to let Jane’s photos of Fran’s house show the rest of the holiday spirit that was in the air. It was an entirely beautiful day!
MMM Getting close to Christmas.
Yes. It will soon be here, Linda.
