Such an absolutely beautiful Sunday morning! Not a leaf stirs as the sun dapples them with gold and shadow. On my neighbor’s driveway, a rabbit with wet feet stops and does a bit of drying off. Two squirrels chase each other around the maple. In the back yard, the little robin family is out for an early morning excursion.
It’s great to feel well and be in my own home this morning. As efficient and caring as doctors and nurses are, a hospital room doesn’t hold a candle to home, be it ever so humble. By the way, my hat is off to dedicated nurses. They truly do all they can to make patients comfortable and their work is hard and often thankless.
Family and friends are important always but especially when a person is laid up. Thanks to each one for trips made, errands run, prayers said, phone calls, visits and emails. My hospital stay made me appreciate simple things, like walking around the house without an attached IV following like a faithful robot. It’s also great that my heart is behaving itself.
So, all in all, I’m very happy to be a part of this sunny Sunday. It truly is the day the Lord has made and you can be assured I’ll rejoice and be exceptionally glad and thankful in it.
So glad you are better and home. Praying your heart behaves itself and doesn’t do the fast jitterbug again. All joking aside glad it’s out of A Fib and doing better.
Right. I think it will behave as long as I follow the doctor’s directions and I plan to do that. Thanks for writing, Deb.
Rejoicing in this sunny Sunday, too, and rejoicing and thankful to God that you are home, feeling good and planning on following doctor’s directions! : )
Thank you again for prayers, Fran. Yes, I think this hospital stay has really made me realize that the simple things are the best and the most important. I plan to faithfully follow the plan the doctor laid out for me.
beautiful flowers for a beautiful woman
Thank you for the sweet compliment, Helen.
So glad you are home! Continuing prayers for you.
Thank you, Nancy. I’m glad to be home too.
Glad to have you back home as well neighbor. I’m sure Nemo was super happy to see you as he probably missed you too.
It’s good to be home! Thanks so much for the lift. Nemo was very glad to see me although he had been pampered and well cared for.
So glad you are at home. If I can do anything, let me know. I have had two ablations. The second one has worked. I always get too anxious. Now, I need to avoid salt and stress. And get rest!
We need to get together and compare notes, Carolyn. Yes, we do need to avoid stress. I’m just not sure how to do that!
I rejoice, also, this Sunday evening, that you are home and your heart is behaving! Mark and Joan are here visiting so I will pass the good news on to them. Love you dearly!
Thank you, Teresa. I love you dearly too. I’m sure you four are having a great time. Tell Mark and Joan ‘hello’ for me.
