If you happen to be in Springdale tomorrow at 2:00, pop into the Springdale Library. Nine other authors and I will be giving a reading. And later, we’ll have a question and answer session and you’ll have a chance to browse through many interesting books by about thirty-five authors and buy any that you choose. A book makes an appreciated and lasting gift and Christmas draws ever closer. I’ll be reading from By the Fright of the Silvery Moon.
Last night, I had the neatest dream! I bought a motor home. It was beautiful, not overly long. In it, I could go anywhere in the United States I wished to go. Nemo would fit nicely and feel comfortable and he’d enjoy riding and looking out windows. Oh, the places we’d go! (Thank you, Dr. Seuss.) I felt the far horizons calling. Deep down, I must have an itchy foot and a touch of the wanderlust.
Probably the reason I dreamed this was that I saw a neighbor just taking off in his motor home. He and his wife travel a lot. I wondered where they were off to this time. A warm climate? A cold one? Were they going for Thanksgiving? That must be so much fun.
It’s nice to dream dreams and when those dreams are big and long and have wheels, well! There’s just no telling where they will take me!
