October 31, as well as being Halloween, was also Reformation Day, in honor of Martin Luther’s Reformation of the Church. If you’ve never read a history of Martin Luther, let me say he was an extremely courageous man, devoted and determined.
And then November 1 was Authors’ Day! What an opportune time to launch Moonlight Can Be Murder. Authors, did you know there was a day named in honor of us? I didn’t until my niece told me.
Readers, we’ll have to wait’ll January 22 for a celebration but, let me say we don’t have to wait that long to enjoy reading. It’s a pleasure, year round.
I am winding down the free Moonlight Can Be Murder contest. If you haven’t already shared my blog about its debut, please do that today. I’ll draw a lucky name and announce the winner on Thursday. Thanks to all of you who have shared and good luck to each one!
Tomorrow’s blog will be by my niece, Michelle Day Albrecht. She will relate a childhood experience about ducklings and their devoted mama who, by the way, was not a duck at all!
