The enthusiastic welcome you are giving By the Fright of the Silvery Moon is heart-warming. Thank you. It is exciting to know that Ned and her latest mystery is going to so many homes. If you enjoy the book, an honest Amazon review would be mighty welcome too.
Yesterday, my talented publisher, Pen-L.com, sent me a new poster that I’ve put on Facebook and they have actually given me my own page on their site. www.Pen-L.com/Manos.html. Now, that is exciting! Thank you, Duke and Kimberly. You can click on the link and there is my little cozy mystery owl, my books, and even a picture of me and my biography. I like it.
Writing a book is creating a whole, new world. It is fun and rewarding to sketch in the setting and people it with characters of my imagination. Reading that book is stepping inside the pages of a book, getting to know the characters and care about their problems and their joys. It’s a heart-warming experience. That’s what makes the long days and months of carefully crafting it worthwhile.
August promises to be an eventful month–the eclipse coming on the twenty-first, a 4.2 earthquake in central Oklahoma last night, and who knows what else? Let’s hope the “what else” is positive. August is also the last official month of summer, when barefoot days draw to a close and a new school year rises, like a new moon, on the horizon. It’s a great time to grab a cozy mystery and a glass of iced tea, retreat to your favorite shade tree (or air-conditioned room) and lose yourself in what in the world could be happening under the light of a silvery moon.
Happy reading! And, may all your mysteries be cozy ones.
Checked it out and will copy the link to my author page! Looks great.
Thanks so much for doing that, Sharon.
