It Opens With a Nightmare

It Opens With a Nightmare

Ned McNeil is haunted by a nightmare that wakes her in the middle of the night, leaving her gasping for breath. A dog—or is it a wolf?—howling in her yard under the brilliant autumn moon sends chills down her spine. Get ready for a page turner; a cozy mystery with an extra shiver that just may keep you up at night, even when the moon isn’t full!

Its beginning is like a nightmare–in fact, it opens with a nightmare, but it’s coming…In just a few short weeks, a new Ned McNeil book will burst upon the cozy mystery scene. By the Fright of the Silvery Moon follows Moonlight Can Be Murder. And, if you haven’t yet entered the contest to win a free print copy of Moonlight, please click on this link and get your name in the pot! Time’s a-wasting. https://giveaway.amazon.com/p/c7b75d3c8e3ee1b3. Although that’s all you have to do to enter, if you’ll share the link on your Facebook page, I’ll appreciate it.

This is the day for the critique. I can hardly wait to see what the Cozy Critters have been doing. I know that Jane will have a poem about Libby, the puppy who is the newest member of her family. Peg, of course, will have read several cozy mysteries since last time we met and she will tell us what she enjoyed most or not so much about each of them. Nancy has been on vacation so she probably was inspired to write about new scenes. Carolyn may not get to be with us but when a family member needs us, that is most important.

Anyway, I’ll be able to share the latest on Fright’s journey to completion and also ask their opinion about a possible third Ned McNeil mystery. I was thinking about calling it Ghost of Moonlight Past. What do you think?

With all that going on, it’s bound to be a busy Wednesday. I hope you have a great day and may all your mysteries be cozy ones.
