Grave Heritage” is the most recent of Blanche Day Manos’ mystery novels. It is a winner! It begins with the mysterious stranger who appears at the new home that Darcy Campbell shares with her mother, Flora Tucker. The stranger just as mysteriously flees when he sees Miss Flora. Adding to the worry the incident has caused Darcy and Flora, he is later found murdered. Then, to add to the frightening events, one of Levi’s less beloved citizens is found murdered. We are kept in suspense until the end. I’ll have to admit that I occasionally giggled along the way, and even experienced a couple of unexpected moments of sadness. One character who was very interesting was Trace Hughes, the new pastor of the Levi Baptist Church. I was left wondering what his future life might hold for him, and might he crop up in a future mystery novel? All in all, “Grave Heritage” is a very enjoyable read.”  — Grave Heritage

Great mystery! Kept me on the edge of my seat- couldn’t put it down. Great characters and a good story line. The Cemetery Club

Blanche Day Manos has come up with another winning series. In Moonlight Can Be Murder, Ned (childhood nickname for Nettie Elizabeth Duncan) runs from danger in Atlanta, GA only to find more danger in her hometown of Ednalee, OK. She’s gone back home to help her uncle, but when she gets there, someone has already “taken care” of him. With many twists and turns and the help of old friends and an old flame, Ned fights to conquer her fears and her foes in this exiting tale of moonlight and murder. A wonderful cozy. — Moonlight Can Be Murder

Enjoyed this book. I like the setting and the descriptions of the surrounding area. The mystery was twisted enough to keep me reading.  — Best Left Buried

The author does a wonderful job of creating a feeling of excitement yet comfortable atmosphere in her books. I really enjoy the way she weaves the threads of suspense, romance, culture and values throughout her story. Knowing the characters from other stories helps give this a personal touch that makes one want to know what is happening next for this individual. Ms Manos’s knowledge of cultures helps give a reality touch to the story. I would very much recommend her series of Darcy and Flora Cozy mysteries to anyone with an appreciation of enjoyable mysteries written in words that one can enjoy for the whole family if read aloud.  —Grave Shift
