Happy Mentions

Tweets and twitters and they’re not even birds! However, they are music to my ears. And joyful. Two beautifully-worded mentions of two of my cozy mysteries: Special Novel Ties is a new site by Earl Chinnici. This is a fun concept Earl developed with a tie or something in common one book has with another. In The Cemetery Club, the tie is the name Darcy. It will be fun to see what happens next on Earl’s page. Thank you, Earl, for show-casing the first of the Darcy and Flora cozy mysteries.

Ronda Del Boccio writes wonderful book reviews. This morning, she tweeted out her review of Moonlight Can Be Murder. If you haven’t read it on her site, Write On Purpose, I hope you remedy that situation! Thank you, Ronda, for the in-depth, lovely review and the tweet.

And so begins another beautiful spring day in NW Arkansas. The trees surrounding my house are thick and full. IMG_0361The maple tree and the white mulberry are holding hands across my driveway. In the back, the surprise redbud leans over the deck, too close to the house but a wonderful privacy screen provided by nature.

I hope the beginning of your holiday weekend is a happy, safe one. Let’s not ever forget the reason we have this holiday and the debt we owe those who sacrificed so much to keep our country free. Hold freedom close; guard it; defend it. Don’t let it slip away. Without freedom, we’d have nothing to celebrate at all.
