I’m actually writing this Saturday evening, not Sunday morning. The sun has dipped below the horizon. From where I sit, the world seems impossibly quiet and peaceful. I’m grateful, knowing that it certainly isn’t quiet and peaceful in many other places.
It has been a good day; any day spent with my family is a good day. Matt and I went to Best Buy to look at TVs today. My old one just turned up its toes and died.
I told you there’s a rabbit in my back yard who lives under the storage building. Every evening about the same time, he comes out and nibbles clover. I sort of watch for him.
I washed and filled the hummingbird feeder today. Maybe some of those amazing little fliers will chance to discover it.
It’s a chilly evening, a good time to snuggle under an afghan and read Cranberry Bluff by Deborah Garner. Another cozy mystery series I recently read was the Chef Maurice series by J. A. Lang. I sent the author a short email telling her how much I enjoyed her books and she sent a gracious reply. Authors love hearing from readers and appreciate those reviews!
If you enjoy an audio book on a long car ride or a flight, you might give Grave Shift in audio form a try. Amazon lowered the price and it is quite reasonable.
It has been a long day, a good day, and I’m ready to look into Cranberry Bluff. I hope you are snugged in for the evening and in the morning, you wake ready for the adventures of a new day!
