Each year, the provider for my website, Jetpack, sends a run-down of what went on in this blog during the past year. It is interesting and thought-provoking. Can you believe Jetpack logged 12,000 visits to my site? For example, the busiest day was July 1 with 461 visits. And, of the seven days of the week, the best day was Friday–for my blog, that is.
So, I pour myself another cup of Folgers and say, “Wow!” Thank you, readers, friends, and fans of Darcy, Flora, and Ned! I appreciate you and look forward to your visits.
Here’s another fun fact: visitors from 71 countries came calling. The most represented were The United States, Canada, and Austria.
Jetpack also sent links to what you, my visitors, considered the most popular blogs. I list them here, in case you’d like to re-visit:

My most commented on blog was my 2015 writing resolutions. How’d I do about keeping those resolutions? http://www.blanchedaymanos.com/2015-writing-resolutions/
How was your year? What were your favorite books? Some of you are writers, and you have started or finished a book. Congratulations! Do you write New Year’s resolutions? Do you keep a journal or diary that you can look back on? I am convinced that visitors to my website are among the most interesting and well-read people anywhere and I appreciate you. The latch string is always out for you, every time you come calling!
I don’t make New Years Resolutions or as my husband says he only makes one resolution every year and that is to not make any resolutions and he keeps it too. My 2015 was a year of change. We added a new granddaughter in Feb and lost my Dad suddenly in March. My husband left a job he had been at for 15years and started a new job. One thing I know with the ups and downs of 2015 God had it all in control
Deb, I’m so sorry that you lost your dad. Years bring changes, sadness, joy, as with the birth of your granddaughter. Congratulations to your husband on starting the new job. And I hope the new year is the best one yet for you and your family!
Wow! That is wonderful. You do have a very interesting blog and I always marvel at how you have something interesting to say every day. I think I would run out after a week or so!
Thank you, Sharon. Congratulations again on finishing that book. When will it be available online?
I have no idea. You know the most work starts now. First I have to make sure all the dates are right, the right rivers run through the right towns, etc. etc. I’m taking a few days off just to clear my mind!
Yes, I do understand how that goes; not changing the color of anyone’s eyes, etc. It is enough to boggle the mind. You’ll do great, though
Ahh, what a wonderful accomplishment.
Thank you, Helen.
Good job! Keep writing!
Thank you, Nancy.
