Your invitation to mystery
As the narrator of the audio book reads, I can see that spring morning, Darcy and Flora at an ancient cemetery, the sudden and violent storm that blots out the sun, a dead body on top of a brush pile and I can feel Darcy and Flora’s horror as they flee a tornado and the unbelievable discovery that plunged them into a web of dangerous ancient secrets.
Follow these intrepid sleuths as they tumble in their car down Deertrack Hill, stumble into a cave from which they barely escape, and face the guns of violent men who will stop at nothing to satisfy their greed.
The colorful leaves on the ground here in NWArkansas this morning remind me this is not spring as it is in The Cemetery Club, but it is a good time for battening down the hatches and getting ready for a coming cold snap. One thing is certain; spring, summer, winter, fall, each season is the perfect time for reading or for listening to a cozy mystery. Nature herself issues an invitation to lose yourself in the lives of Darcy and Flora in Levi, Oklahoma, a town which looks serene and peaceful on the surface but which has depths that Darcy never suspected existed.
