This post was actually from three years ago. The trees haven’t turned color this much yet this year, but they are getting there. It’s kind of fun to look back and enjoy that 2015 fall again.
Yesterday’s perfect weather was too beautiful for me to stay indoors so I grabbed my trusty camera and sallied forth. First stop: the middle of the street, looking upward. An added bonus: while I was snapping, a neighbor came by walking her dog. We had a good chat about churches, dogs, and autumn.
As I closed my lens and was turning around, down came a maple leaf, without a sound. It lit on some dark wood and plain as could be, that leaf seemed to whisper, “Take a picture of me.”
I walked by O’Malley and I do declare, a bright autumn leaf was adorning his hair.
Petunias, forget-me-nots, cherubs and all seemed to rejoice in the grandeur of fall.
