Food for the Spirit

Food for the Spirit

So many things for which to be thankful! It’s good to remember them every day of the year, not only at Thanksgiving. To my way of thinking, thankful people are healthier, happier, and a whole lot more fun to be around than old grumps! Don’t you agree?

My generous Lord showers me with the invaluable blessings of family, friends, a job that I love. I don’t want to take any of these for granted.  Writing is a blessing and so are the people I’ve never met but who have met Darcy and Flora and also Ned. I love being able to reach out to readers through the books I write.

As you know, the audio book of The Cemetery Club is available on Amazon. Already, people have listened to it and are letting me know how they feel about hearing this adventure of two women who get caught up in a dangerous plot for Cherokee gold. Here is a quote from one of those fans of the audio:

I like the flow and how you feel like you are right there with Flora and Darcy telling you their story. I get so caught up in it I feel like I am experiencing it with them.”

Audio books are particularly good to listen to when traveling. This first adventure of Darcy and Flora is seven hours and nineteen minutes long so it would come in handy for a long trip or several short ones or when sitting and crocheting or cooking or…well, you choose.Books are food for the spirit

Anyway, thank you readers and listeners. I appreciate each of you not only at Thanksgiving but every day throughout the year.
